While you're here, how about checking out the Astronomy Book List ?

I'm looking into buying a used LX200 that is about 3-4
years old. Have there been any significant changes in
the LX200 8" f/10 in the last 4 years? What about the
ROM version? I'm sure there have been several ROM
versions in that time but are they really critical
updates or just more objects added? If I choose to
upgrade the ROM version what do I need to do and how
much does it cost? Can I just order a new EPROM or
EEPROM from Meade and install it myself (I have
electronics experience)?
