Thanks to all who responded to my inquiry regarding field batteries. =
But questions arose:
1- If I purchase a marine type battery I suppose I will also have to =
purchase a charger too. Correct?
You could take it to a service station to get charged, but it's easier =
to charge at home with your own charger.
2- Are there cigarette lighter adapters available through Radio Shack =
etc. to attach to the + - posts so I could plug in my various =
accessories?
Yes, lighters are available at Radio Shack, but you will need to build =
some kind of a box to hold the power take off recepticles. This is why =
many of us buy power pac units...everything is contained in one small =
box with a carry handle...sealed battery (17 AH to 24 AH), built-in =
charger, battery condition meter, jumper cables, cig. lighter and more.
