I'm looking to buy a top-notch low-power, wide field EP for my
10" LX200. I currently own a wide range of EPs, including a 22mm Type 4
Nagler, but my lowest power EP right now is the 26mm Series 4000 Plossl
that came with the scope. I also own the Televue 2" Everbrite diagonal.
I'm considering the following three but would also be interested
in others:

- 35mm Panoptic (65 degree FOV)
- 31mm Type 5 Nagler (82 degree FOV)
- 40mm Konig (70 degree FOV)

There are obvious tradeoffs in apparent and true FOV as well as cost
of these three EPs, with the Konig about 1/3 the price of the Nagler.
Some people rave about the Konig while others complain about stars at
the edge of the field. I have seen many individual reviews of these
EPs but nothing that compares them. So I'm kind of at a loss. I'd
appreciate the input of anyone who has done any kind of comparison
of EPs in this category.
I'm also curious if anyone has tried to barlow the 31mm Nagler,
including using the Televue 2" giant barlow. It's hard to imagine all
that hanging off the back of the scope. So I'm curious if anyone has
tried it. I have the Losmandy counterweight system. So I'm not concerned
about the weight...mostly just the flexture with a 2.2 lb EP hanging off
the end of a barlow.
