Actually, Doug, the 56mm hardly ever gets taken out except for lunar viewing.
Much preferred are the 2" UO Konigs - we've got the set. The difference
in the FOV between the 40mm Konig and the 56mm Plossl are negligible, and
the added magnification is almost always appreciated.
The UO Konigs are also very reasonably priced at $195 for the 40mm, $179 for
the 25mm and $129 for the 32mm. The 25 and 40 have a 70 degree field, and the
32 has a 60 degree field. I find them to be very good eyepieces and a
superb value.
