Hi,
I tried to clean the lens of my telescope but it left stains on the lens =
no matter how many times I repeated the procedure. I put a cotton ball =
in a solution of 50% distilled water and 50% pure isopropyl alcohol =
(99,5%) swept the lens with little presure and immediately swept it =
again with a dry cotton ball. When it dried it left circular stains. I =
tried to use only distilled water or only isopropyl alcohol with the =
same results. I also tried not to sweep the lens afterwards but it left =
random stains all over (little better this time).
Am I doing something wrong ?
