While you're here, how about checking out the Astronomy Book List ?

dear friends,
I'd to know If someone uses a magellan I + dobsonian
meade reflecting scope.
Can someone send me any information about magellan I for dobson ?

1) I wish to know if "magellan I" has a sideral timing clock
or one has to guide manually hands after searching an object.
2) when finding an object I have to set telescope "near" the object
before the real magellan search

(with magellan II, before pointing an object I have to set
the field of telescope at about 1 degree before the real search...)
