While you're here, how about checking out the
Astronomy Book
List ? |
I can try it out later tonight.
I've dumped 6.4b3 in favour of the earlier b2 though, because the
autocentre does not work on my setup with b3.
I was trying to take longer exposures of dim deepsky objects a couple of
nights ago, I seem to have a real problem with noise (digital) in the
image - it looks like TV interference, regular patterns over the whole
image.
The shift and combine is broke too, an early attempt *almost* worked,
there was slight (but noticeable) mis-registration of the multiple
images. Further attempts were no better, or even worse.
I've given up on it and will take individual frames and combine them
later as best I can.
