While you're here, how about checking out the Astronomy Book List ?

Dan,

I have the LX200 12-inch. ST-7/CFW-8 combo, and am running remote approx 50'
from my PC. Connections were provided by Software Bisque. No problems!
Neither the LX200 nor the ST-7 are SCISI, so the 7m length is moot. I'm not an
electronics expert, but my cabling might just as well be bundled, and I seem to
have no problems. Take some string and tie it all together before you buy a
commercial product from Radio Shack. If it works --as we say here in the UK
--Bob's your uncle --if it doesn't . . .

Bob
