While you're here, how about checking out the Astronomy Book List ?

1. Does anyone know how to do a controlled 216XT shutdown when connected
and using Dospview? I don't see a shutdown selection in the menus.
Pictor has a controlled shutdown and there is a manual procedure using
the camera button, but I don't think the button works after the Camera
is in PC mode.

Any suggestions? Has everyone using Dospview been ignoring the shutdown
requirements? (controlled warmup).

2. Any idea how many "hot pixels" are normal for a 216XT? Is 100 to 200
too many?

3. What is the normal recommended chip temperature as compared to
ambient? Can you have the chip set too cold?

Thanks for any info!
m.
