While you're here, how about checking out the Astronomy Book List ?

Clark Williams requested help with a 'flat field' problem.


I have tried his steps with a 1616 both in analog binning and in unbinned
mode. I found that I hear the shutter click in step 12 (like it should but
mentioned in Clark's description ) and that in step 13 I can take images.


So I cannot duplicate his problem.

However, I would suggest upgrading to flash ROM 3.1 (if that is appropriate)
for his computer setup.
