I strongly disagree. I think John is doing us an immense service by
blocking all the spam. The volume of mail generated by MAPUG is tremendous
as it is (50-75 a day). At least when I download my mail from MAPUG I know
it will be SOMETHING about Meade products or astronomy in general, and I
don't mind wading through it. BUT, spam is not good, spam is never good,
spam is unwanted, spamming should be a capital crime, spam is the AIDS of
the internet :^)
John, if you need a vote of confidence, please place my vote in the 'Keep
doing what you've been doing and thank you very much' column.
