While you're here, how about checking out the Astronomy Book List ?

I am becoming increasingly frustrated with Meades image processing
software. Their IP-2000 won't take the 16 bit images from my 416 camera.
I have to convert them to an 8 bit format before I can get things to
work correctly. Does anyone have any suggestions for image processing
software that will take the Meade 16 bit FITS format.
