While you're here, how about checking out the Astronomy Book List ?

Hello all,

Been using my Pictor 416XT for several months now and have taken note to
a trend developing upon initial bootup of the camera. The message
"Overheat...beginning cool down" will show on the camera control box, so
I reboot the camera and everything works fine after that for the night.
Anyone else ever get this message or know why it occurs? Does not seem
to affect camera operation so should I be concerned?
