Paul,
I can't answer your specific question, but be sure that you are using the
offset that Tuthill notes in the product instruction for your position
within your timezone. The laminated sheet with dates/times and index
numbers for the scope is set for the center of a timezone. I forgot about
the additional offset, and Nashville is fairly close to the eastern
timezone, and it would have improved my alignment.
If you did not factor that in, you might retry your experiment.
