Another problem is that they are very large physically and hence may be
difficult to transport. I usually pack mine full of jackets and such so it
doesn't really take up any extra space. YMMV. And, of course, the
"beautiful Meade blue" finish needs to be protected when it is rolling
around in the back of your truck; I just put a large sweatshirt on it.

One other tip: when you're not actually looking thru your scope point it at
the ground. That way the corrector "sees" the relatively warm Earth
instead of the cold sky and will thus take longer to dew up.
