While you're here, how about checking out the Astronomy Book List ?

To anyone who is using Pictoveiw 6.4,
I just installed Pictorveiw 6.4 and veiwed some images taken with an
earlier version. All the images and dark frames have hot pixels twice as
big as before. It looks like nearly 2/3 of the images are covered with
big white specks. These images were no longer than 180 seconds with a
temperature of -10. The fix hot and cold pixels has no effect. Using the
arrow keys to adjust the image just turns it white with no way to fix
it. How many hot pixels should there be on an exposure of 180 sec.
Also, am I doing something wrong when I process the images? It seems as
though the version 6.3 worked better.
Thanks,
Robert
