While you're here, how about checking out the
Astronomy Book

Well it de-rotates great, but it does have several disadvantages over the
wedge. It adds a 50deg limit (maybe 60 I can't remember) to alt.
When using an "Focal Reducer - De-Rotator - OAG - 616Color Filter - CCD (in
that order)" you must remove the 1.25" adapter and barrell to allow your
CCD to screw directly onto the OAG or you CAN NOT focus the image on the
CCD.
The advantage I see with it would be using a guide scope so you could remove
the OAG from the loop and of course I have heard that using alt-az mode is
more accurate. I plan to buy a Milburn wedge soon and will put that theory
to the test for myself.
BTW: I noticed on your web page a "dome observatory". What is that
constructed of. I have just completed an 11' dome made from 1/2" EMT
conduit and tile board. Observatories are well worth the investment.
Have Fun....
