Hi all,
Does anyone here use "The Sky" to control their LX200? If so I have a few
quick questions if you will indulge me.
1.) Can you control the LX200 in Alt/Az and Polar alignment mode? Is there a
toggle button for this?
2.) Can you do the LX200s alignment from within The Sky? (EG: two star
alignment in Alt/Az)
3.) Does The Sky offer an alternate (IE: easier) method of doing polar
alignment to the standard "point n pray" or drift methods?
Question three is the most important to me as I have no pole star access and
the drift method is a tad hard for me (although I will attempt it till I get
it right if needed). What I would LIKE is a polar alignment method similar
to the Alt/Az two star alignment IE: Point scope generally north then pick
out two stars and computer figures out where you are, does The Sky support
this?
Sorry if this sounds a bit naive but hopes spring is eternal :)
