While you're here, how about checking out the Astronomy Book List ?

Good Idea if I had any 1 1/4 EPs or Diagonal. Need to keep it simple by Star
Aligning w/2" and then visually observing w/ my other 2" 50mm. Scope is used
exclusively for public eye-ball astronomy and the more objects nailed in the
center by go-to, the better. Bob

I agree, Blair! Use a 1-1/4 E.P.W/Reticle, or roughly center target star a
Low Power E.P then pop in a High Power E.P. and recenter. You will find the
alignment more than adequate for LX setup. That's all you need unless you
are
going to be measuring position or angular distance. Keep it simple and
inexpensive!
