While you're here, how about checking out the

As many may know, I plan with in the next 2 months on getting the Astro
Dome,
http://www.astrodomes.com and like many others have been concerned about
the Dome tracking with the SCT? Well problem solved, and I didn't even
know it! My GOTO computer from Aim Controls with mount, has a output
that can be added, for relay driving to make the dome motor to track to
dome with the SCT telescope. I will try later to come up with more data
on this, when Pat is not so busy. It seems they have allot of orders
now, so they are very busy. But this is great new, as the only thing I
can find close that is worth while, runs over $1K as a stand alone unit,
to connect with scopes like the LX200 or the Sky. So this system already
tracking takes the math in account with a additional chip and you supply
the 2 relays and the motor. If I'm correct, you program in the data,
like you do for the RA and DEC motor for the scope mount. And thus, both
scope and dome can track from the SKY or other software, or just from
the hand controller. So now were talking a simple upgrade to the
Coordinate 3A and not allot of money out the door, like the others. Now
I can hardly wait till I get the Dome. Mike
