I use it, its very good indeed and fairly cheap. Its basically a grating
filter.

Here is a guy who uses the rainbow and other instruments to much better
effect than I do. (His review of the grating is included).

Does anyone know anything about Rainbow Optics Star Spectroscope?? I am told
S&T had an article some time ago about a relatively inexpensive spectroscope
they produced but don't now which issue and where Rainbow might be.
