Yep, there is a bright star just out of the FOV. I get that arc around
Alnitak whenever I shoot the Flame Nebula. It's a normal artifact of a SCT.
You may want to check inside the GEG and anything else in your optical path
though. I had to blacken the NGF-S after I put it on, because I was seeing
off axis arcing all over.
