While you're here, how about checking out the Astronomy Book List ?

Michael,

Is that the 8" f10 or f6.3? I have been looking at some larger (2")
eyepieces for my 8" f6.3 and have heard rave reviews of both the 22 Nagler
and the 22 Panoptic from lots of 10" Lx200 users, but never from anyone that
had used them on an 8" f6.3. I recently upgraded to a (used, but like new)
Televue Everbright diagonal and want to get some big glass for it.

It was quite a kick putting a friend's 32mm Widescan on it down in the Keys
at the WSP and seeing what a full 2 degree field is like!!! I guess those
CCD camera counter-weights have other uses after all!

Hello Richard

I have the 22mm Nagler 4 on a 8" LX200. It is excellent - I use it
more than any other eyepiece. The sliding "Instadjust" eyeguard gives
a slightly disturbing feeling of "sloppyness" when handling the
eyepiece. I don't think I ever will like that, but when the eyepiece is
in place on the telescope it is no problem.

Best Regards
