While you're here, how about checking out the Astronomy Book List ?

All I recieved was a piece of paper with a large circle( about the same size
as the 2.7" focuser end). The circle had 2 vertical dots just below the
center of the circle. The instructions said to cut out the circle and tape
it on the end of the focuser with the dots going horizontal with respect to
the focuser knobs. The instructions said to punch out the 2 holes and shine
a pen light into the lower hole. You could then look through the upper hole
and see 2 reflections of the light in the front of the scope( you have to
have the lens cover on). You then adjust the push/pull screws to get the 2
reflected lights parallel with the actual dots on the circle of paper. Then
you untape the circle and put the dots vertical with the focuser and line
the lights up with the dots again. you repeat this until they line up on
both angles. I have used the paper I recieved, but I did get it as a fax
from Meade. I'm sure you can call them and get it too, but this only gets
you fairly close. If you say yours is already that way, you may just want to
poin the scope at a star and finish it without the paper. Have you had a
chance to view the planets with the 7" yet?
