While you're here, how about checking out the Astronomy Book List ?

Hey Bill,

Just measured the shipping container for the 12" and here's what I got: 45"
long, 30" wide, 22" high. Each dimension was actually 1/2" less than stated,
I rounded up. If you don't use the outside box for transport, you could
safely take an inch off each dimension.
