Yes.

Unless the optics were really bad (unusual with modern SCTs,
but they do still ship occasionally) the difference may not
even be noticeable.

1) Examine the housing for any marks, most likely in pencil.
2) Set up the system for an optical test, and then start
rotating the secondary, marking each point when
the image quality peaks. Then compare each of the
peak positions and find the best. With this method
you may actually improve the image over the stock
orientation. When matching optics the factory
looks for the first peak. Not the best.
