While you're here, how about checking out the Astronomy Book List ?

Michael & Chris,

An alternative utilized on another group is to use
Krylon Ultra Flat Black spray paint and those long
foma tipped swabs you can get at Radio Shack.
Spray a bunch of the Krylon into a cap til it
puddles, let it breath for a bit to allow the
vapors to clear. Dip the swabs into the paint and
reach into the baffle tube from the eyepiece end.
Having first measured the length of the tube in
comparison to the length of the baffle tube.
Reach the swab in to the maximum length and wipe
your way out. Or just do as much as you can
reach.
