My observatory has two cat-5 cables, a phone cable and a coax cable for
video in addition to power. They all run in parallel for 50 feet or
more but the power is in a separate 2" conduit. The distance between
the power and signal wires is only a couple of inches but that seems to
be sufficient. I've had no problems at all.
