Thanks for the input. My power cable will not be inside the PVC pipe as the
local code will not allow that. The code also will not allow cable in
buried metal conduit because of frost heaving problems. Our code requires a
"bare" 110v power cable be buried 18" deep which it will be. Household
Romex can't be buried, it reqires special type cable (I can't remember the
exact type right now). My PVC pipe, buried at the 12" level, will house
only the CAT-5 cable, a telephone line, and a pull through cord for future
use. The circuit will also be GFCI protected of course.
Now, if my CAT-5 cable would have only arrived yesterday as expected...
