In my experience, this will happen sometimes. My ST-4 has been showing even larger swings.

There should only be large delays if it is taking a long exposure. Are you re-taking dark frames after every 201 adjustment?
I´ve calibrated the unit and start guiding with readings like 00 and 01.

I have never seen that and it should not be. I have found that the unit functions best with exposure times longer than 3 seconds. Try R.A. and Dec setings of '2'.
The 201 needs to be setup for easily repeatable focus. Once that is done the unit is VERY easy to use.
