I agree! I own one of these cameras (actually the MX5C) and find it =
very competent and much easier to use and user friendly than the Meade =
cameras.

You may want to take a look at the Starlight Express MX7-C.
I have a ST-237 and a MX7-C the MX7-C is great value for money as it =
gives you "one shot" colour.
Cheers !!

Greetings,

I'm after any thoughts regarding an impending CCD purchase.

The current runners are the 216XT, the ST-237A, and the 416XTE (this =

=20
I like the idea of standalone autoguiding - as I anticipate =
continuing with film astrophotography - but would be willing to forego =
the former for, say, the reputed superiority of SBIG products. I also =

colour film astrophotography).

Currently using an f6 Newtonian, but I'm hoping to sell this and buy =
a 10 inch LX-200 in the near future (f ratio still undecided).

All opinions - particularly from those who have experience with all =
three cameras - greatly appreciated.

Thanks.
