If you plan on doing photography, there is NO substitute for drift
alignment. There are several methods to get close, but you still have to
drift align from there. I use a polar finder scope to get close then drift
align in about 10 to 15 minutes. Most of that time is waiting to see if
there is any drift. If I don't see any drift in 2 to 5 minutes I'm happy.
