My scope is attached to the standard Meade permanent pier made of metall whereas
my previous scope was set on a superwedge which was bolted to a cement pipe
filled with concrete. Anyway, the only vibration I can induce now seem to
originate from the fork assembly and disappear within a couple of seconds. I
consider the problem as being solved.
