While you're here, how about checking out the Astronomy Book List ?

Do you own a barlow ? If so, get the 12mm MA, and if you need the extra =
mag. throw in the Barl.

Cheers.

Subject: [M]: Illuminated Reticles

I am going to purchase an illuminated reticle for the purpose of more =
accurately aligning the scope during the alignment process. I have =
reviewed both of Meade's and can't decide between the 12mm MA and the =
9mm super plossl. I don't plan on doing any photography of any sorts. =
Either would probably serve the purpose well. I was just wondering if =
the 9mm with its micrometer adjustments was worth the extra cost. Is =
the 12mm MA, even though lesser quality, an eye piece that would allow =
for quite accurate star alignments?

Thanks,
Rick Wisniewski, Vancouver, WA
