While you're here, how about checking out the Astronomy Book List ?

Greetings.

I'm planning a semi-permanent pier. By semi-permanent I mean that I may =
have to move it in the not too distant future to make way for home =
renovations. With this in mind I'm thinking of laying a basic concrete =
slab, and having a pier made up (similar to the after market Meade ones) =
which can be 'bolted' to the slab.

I'd value any thoughts - particularly if you've done this - or can =
compare it directly to a pier embedded in concrete.

Thanks.
