While you're here, how about checking out the Astronomy Book List ?

Ettore-

It may be all in my head but I am sure it makes a big difference with the
JMI MAX DSC unit on my dob. I seem to do better by moving quickly with my
LX-200 too but that may be purely coincidental. Would the LX computer have
to make DEC corrections as well as RA if it is in alti-az and you are slow
getting the second star? Anyway, my 5 year-old LX-200 seems to work pretty
well never having had any repairs or "mods"so I have a routine I try not to
vary, including quickly centering the second star :-).
