While you're here, how about checking out the Astronomy Book List ?

Hi there:

Can anybody recommend a focuser for the 12" LX200 that is the rack and
pinion type (like the JMI), but is
controlled by way of the LX200 hand paddle or TheSky? Looking to use it
with a CCD and wishing to
avoid mirror flop.

Does JMI have a unit that can be connected to the LX200 base, or is a
relay box (with diodes to protect
the LX200) to the JMI unit the way to go?

Is there a better way?

Thanks.

C. W. Robertson
