Hi Chris,
The 55mm Plossl with your scope (assuming it's an 8") will produce only =
36x. You may find that this power is just too low to be considered =
useful...unless you enjoy viewing open clusters. Even then, you would =
be better off buying an F/6.3 focal reducer. If you must have a low =
power ep, the 35mm Panoptic is great!
The 12mm Nagler (or the 9mm Nag) would seem to be a more useful =
purchase. Why not consider buying one of these eyepieces and the focal =
reducer. =20

Subject: [M]: Lx200 f10 eyepieces
Hi all, I am currently concidering buying two new eyepieces to round =
out my=20
collection of one Televue Nagler 22 type 4, I also have the 2" Big =
barlow=20
from Televue, And the Televue 2" Diagonal.=20
I use a JMI NSF-S focuser And usually slide the Barlow into it before =
the=20
diagonal, Is this the right proceedure? or does it have to go into the =
diagonal between the eypiece, either way it works, but if anyone has =
this=20
setup please comment.=20
The eyepieces I am concidering are the 55mm Plossl from Televue for =
the=20
maximum field stop, or would I be better off with the 31mm type 5 =
-over twice=20
the price? And the 12mm Nagler for high power or would that be =
redundant=20
being I have the barlow? I wish I could just test these EP's but I =
don't=20
really have access to a store or others with them where I live so any=20
comments would be greatly appreciated.=20
Thanks Chris =20
