Alan,

I have no problem having a slew speed of 3-4 degrees per second and I'm really
in no rush. However, it seems to me that since it always defaults back to 8
that you would think it would be able to achieve the quoted goto accuracy at
that speed without wearing down the mechanics. Oh well at least it makes
things alot quieter (which is the only reason to reduce the slew speed
according to the manual).
