While you're here, how about checking out the Astronomy Book List ?

I wouldn't say that they are a thing of the past, as I have had 2 myself
(both OUT of warrantee) in my 6 year old scope, but the list archive is very
extensive now and has so many good articles on fixes and troubleshooting
that most people find what they want to know (or don't want to know as the
case may be!) once directed there by list members. Doc G's website is
linked from there also and has many good bits of info.

Check out www.mapug.com for a quick peek at what the archive has to offer.
