While you're here, how about checking out the Astronomy Book List ?

I don't know the source the person used for the information at the bottom of this message. But, the Meade LX200 manual says the Daylight Savings Time offset for Eastern Time Zone is +4. The rest of the year is +5.

. Then set your GMT
offset correctly. I dont know where you live but if you are in the US
Eastern time zone the correct offset now is +3 since its daylight savings
time. Your post says you used +4 which is incorrect. Finally make sure you
have the correct date entered.
