Yes. But the JMI controller works much better. It has a braking
circuit so that the focus motor stops instantly when you release the
button. Meade's circuit just lets it coast to a stop making fine
adjustments more difficult. Using the Meade keypad also requires that
you use multiple keys and be in the right mode.

I've just attached my JMI controller to my LX200 keypad with some rubber
bands. The two cords are a little awkward but it works.
