While you're here, how about checking out the Astronomy Book List ?

Larry,

The 57.9 setting is usually close enough for lunar tracking. Just
remember, the moon moves faster closer to perigee and slower closer
to apogee. This I believe is an average rate. You may have just
changed the second (modifiable rate) but did not activate it. I
usually don't remember the exact procedure to activate it without
punching the keys on the control pad, but carefully read the
procedure for changing and engaging the tracking rate. I have
ruined a few images by forgetting to engaging my tracking rate after
setting it. The default is 60.1 (Sidereal)
