Hi Guys,

I have run into a clearance issue with my new JMI Focuser (NFG-5).=20

Scope is a 10" LX200

When I installed the JMI focuser I discovered that the 2" diagonal now =
extends out from the optical tube far enough to hit the Alt/Az yoke =
(prevents a polar alignment). Unscrewing and removing the 1" diagonal =
tube that attaches the diagonal housing to the JMI appears to be a =
possible solution but the threads of the JMI adapter do not match those =
on the diagonal housing.

What am I missing?=20

Do I need some special adapter that is not supplied by JMI as a standard =
accessory?

Do I need to get a different focuser?

HELP!

Jerry
