The 616A, designed for the 216XT, uses a different connector. It's a very
short telephone/serial type with 4 pins. The 616, used with the 416 and
1616 cameras, has a four-prong male connector on it's body that mates
with a corresponding female 4 point connector on the body of the camera
head. <br><br>
No, the two are not compatible. Now I'll admit - it's been over a year
since I last used a 216XT w/ 616A CFW, so they may have normalized the
design, but I doubt it.<br><br>
