I called OPT just a few minutes ago and was told that they restrict it to Meade products. I
mentioned Astronomics and Hands on Optics allowing any products and they agreed to do the same. I
wonder if I told them that Astronomics was giving away LX200s if they would match it? Haha. I do
think I will be buying from OPT. I liked the fact that they actually have a fairly large stock of
10" and 12" LX200s and I was told that if I had a problem with a scope and had to send it into to
Meade for repair that they might just give me one of the other scopes they had in stock instead.
I like that since I wouldn't be w/o a scope. I'm sure I'll have no problems but just in case.
Also they were very nice.
