While you're here, how about checking out the Astronomy Book List ?

I am considering ordering an Apogee LISAA Color MegaPixel CCD imager for my
LX200 F10 10". It has pixel size of 6.7 micron (1300x1030). It seems by
calculation that in the neighborhood of 20 micron is best for this telescope
(un-reduced), yielding 1.6 arc seconds per pixel. This is achieved at 3x3
binning. Only the SBIG St9e has that, at least what I have seen, it has 20
micron pixels but a very little array and we tad to expensive.

I would like to get on the waiting list (no actually I would like to be able
to get one immediately :), but I need opinions to evaluate.

I am looking for opinions comparing it to Starlight MX7C, SBIG 7e/color
wheel, Meade 416/color wheel, have I missed any ?

Main considerations are Color, Down load speed and best coverage for scope
in the $2500 price range.

Thanks,
Rick
