While you're here, how about checking out the Astronomy Book List ?

On my last outing, I had begun to experience intermitent failures in my
declination drive. I had to utilize the trusty firm-thump-with-index-finger
trick, and it worked fine for the next few minutes. Is this characteristic
of loose connections? Gear slip? Any suggestions would be greatly
appreciated. Thanks in advance.
