Don't be a deep sky chauvinist :-) Look at the Moon and the planets
when you have the opportunity. If the Moon makes galaxies hard, then
check out some lunar rilles and domes. And this month is the best Mars
opposition in a decade. Mars is a tough object but it is well worth an
hour each night for the next month or two.
