While you're here, how about checking out the Astronomy Book List ?

In an effort to keep my scopes dry in Florida inside my garage I've covered
them with large plastic trash bags and placed a container of the Calcium
Chloride pellets (the stuff you get from Home Depot) on the fork base. Any
comments on this (Is the Calcium Chloride in local proximity safe for the
scope) and does anyone have a better way?
